General English Course
About Course
SACE General English programmes are designed to improve students’ English language communication skills to prepare for future study, work, travel or career change.
Duration: 12 – 48 weeks
English for Tertiary Studies
About Course
English for Tertiary Studies (ETS) is offered face to face. Our ETS face to face classes provide Direct Entry to a SACE partner institution after successful completion, without the requirement of an IELTS test.
Duration: 4 – 12 weeks
English Plus Courses
About Course
SACE is an Australian leader in this area and has successfully conducted English, Work Experience and Sports programmes since 1990. Our programmes provides students the opportunity of developing professional work skills and play sports like golf and tennis whilst practicing English in the workplace. Work placements are unpaid.
Duration: 4 – 48 weeks
High School Preparation
About Course
This course aims to prepare students for high School study in South Australia, Adelaide. The minimum English proficiency level for entry into this programme is intermediate. The students’ English language skills are systematically developed in the macro skill areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening. The development of these skills are linked with and based on the language tasks required of them in their high school programme.
Duration: 2 - 4 weeks
Evergreen Programme
About Course
SACE Evergreen Programme is for people who are 50+. The course consists of English language classes in the morning plus three organised in the afternoon cultural activities each week. Evergreen students are also welcome to join the Club SACE Activity programme organised each week.
Duration: 1 - 24 weeks
IELTS Preparation
About Course
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assesses the level of English of non‐native English speakers who require English for Academic, Professional purposes or for visa application for Australia. The SACE IELTS Preparation programme is an intensive 12 to 24 week course designed to prepare students for the 4 main areas of the IELTS exam, speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
Duration: 4 – 24 weeks.
PTE Preparation
About Course
The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is an official English proficiency test recognised by Australian universities, colleges and the Australian Government. PTE provides an alternative English test for non‐native English speakers who require a recognised English proficiency assessment for tertiary study in Australia, future employment or for the Department of Home Affairs.
Duration: 4 – 10 weeks.
Cambridge CELTA Online
About Course
SACE has conducted University of Cambridge CELTA courses since 1992. It is a 100% online course and both part-time and full-time CELTA courses follow the same syllabus and lead to the same internationally recognised Cambridge CELTA certificate. The Cambridge CELTA is the best known TEFL / TESL / TEFOL / TESOL / ELT qualification of its kind in the world, and is often requested by employers nationally and internationally.
